If we stick to the speculations of anthropologists, the Hopi, as other Indian nations, tribes descended from Asians who have crossed the Bering Strait 10,000 years before our era. One theory, however attractive that comes in contradiction with the genesis of a Hopi who speaks emergence much earlier, somewhere on the coast of Central America or even further south. A major difference because according to their legends, transmitted orally during initiation rituals, the Hopi clans have crossed the ocean long after a flood had swallowed up their world, the Third World. According to their tradition, they were the first men to put their feet on the American continent, Fourth World, and were saved from annihilation by their spiritual qualities and that they had kept contact with the Creator of all things.
